Cooper Stockell

Managing Director, Retail Operations

Cooper Stockell is a Managing Director of Retail Operations for SB360 Capital Partners. Cooper is responsible for the oversight of field personnel, and the implementation and management of all field related activities across SB360’s business platform. His nearly 40-year retail career highlights strong organizational skills, effective team building, collaboration, and exceptional problem solving skills.

Cooper previously served as Vice President of Operations for one of the predecessor companies, SB Capital Group, LLC. He spent nearly two decades in various management roles for retail disposition ventures in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. For more than ten years, he was Operations Lead for major disposition projects including Circuit City, Fashion Bug, Kenneth Cole Stores, and Linens-n-Things.

As Vice President of Operations, Cooper provided pre-project operational analysis and hands-on operational control during projects. Cooper’s expanded role brought his retail expertise to additional business segments including due diligence assessments and appraisals. His participation in these areas brought new layers of detail to the process and the supporting materials.

In the early part of his retail career, Cooper spent 20 years in discount store management, first with the Kmart Corporation, and later with Roses Stores Inc. He acquired experience with hardlines and softlines through varying responsibilities covering store operations, merchandising, training, and special projects such as remodels.

Cooper is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a degree in History.
